During an interview with Nasr at the 20th Tabriz Steel Industry Exhibition, Masoud Niktabar emphasized that Taymaz Foolad Casting Company was founded in 2020. The purpose of this factory is to produce knowledge-based components for mother industries, including automotive, power plant, refinery, mining, and other industries related to casting iron and steel pieces of any alloy and complexity.

 

He added that the company had registered its first melt in December 2021 and began production in 2022, continuing work with 170 staff members in three shifts in the second half of 2022. Today, the number of employees in this company has reached 185.

Metco Company’s CEO mentioned that they produce various products in cooperation with important state-owned companies such as Tractor Manufacturing, Automotive Manufacturing, and Pump Manufacturing Companies.

He added that the company’s goal by forming a research and development team is to attract elite specialists in various fields of the province. For the supply of sensitive, complex, rare, and sanctioned components, the company works with technical expertise for companies located in the country.

Mr. Niktabar emphasized that Taymaz Foolad Foundry Company has produced special components for Tabriz Petrochemical Company for the first time in the country.

He stated that the purpose of the company’s participation in the Tabriz Steel Exhibition was to establish a relationship with customers and showcase the company’s capabilities. He concluded by saying that Tabriz is an important and globally recognized industrial city, and officials could have invited visitors from regional countries such as Turkey by negotiation and promotion.
